TIDINESS APPRECIATED AT RC

The environment around RC is always clean, hence the health state of the environment is always up to standard making it easy for both the lecturers and students to feel comfortable. The general workers clean from the ground floor up until the last floor which is the 7th floor by going from class to class, each and every morning. Students are very happy to have the college being cleaned daily. “It is a good that we have cleaners who clean every day and it makes us feel at home as students”, said Lindiwe Ngoma, a student studying Higher Certificate in Events Management (HCEM). She further stated that as students they don’t feel neglected.

The Library has rules put into place that students shouldn’t eat inside the library hence it becomes less of a job for cleaners to be cleaning it constantly. Cleaners clock in at 08:00am every day and they knock off at different time intervals depending on how the groups are structured. One of the general workers, Yandiswa Msitho, stated the school is clean then students and lecturers can be able to enjoy their surroundings. “We are happy of our work because the school always appreciate us”, she said.

Every floor has a store room for the cleaning materials and equipment’s. This makes it easy for the cleaners to easily access their cleaning materials without going up and down around campus.
