Work Integrated Learning is said to be the best module out of all the modules. This module challenges students in order to see whether they have took a correct decision, regarding the courses that they chose and they can also discover what they are good at doing most when it comes to practical’s. Students at Rosebank College (RC) enjoy this module.

This module plays different roles on each and every course at Rosebank College. The most important thing about this module is that it will be used as Proof of Evidence (POE) stating that you have experience to work in a place related to what you have studied. The POE can be featured on your CV.

During the previous week’s, the Diploma Accounting Financial Computing (DAFC) students were engaged in a WIL project, whereby they baked muffins and cookies, mixed non-alcoholic cocktails, milkshakes, grilled burgers and other foods. The food was then sold to everyone at college this includes other students, lecturers, securities and general workers.

Lecturers got to witness if students were able to sell. After selling the food, they shared the profit among themselves

From the businesses many students were able to discover what they are good at, some discovered that they are good at offering differently for some it was on selling, baking, cooking and some at mixing non- alcoholic cocktails.

The WIL module is basically designed to help students during job hunting after graduation because it is not easy to get employment and it also helps students to see if the career stream which they are following is corresponding to their practical abilities.
