Rosebank College (RC) is voted as the coolest college apart from being cool, RC is performing well in academics. Rosebank College (RC) has two campuses in Pretoria. There are two campuses in Pretoria, one is situated in CBD and the other in Sunnyside.
The students who study in RC take their school work very seriously because of the support that they receive from their lecturers. Although students are not studying for the same reasons but then there are students who are always making efforts to meet the lecturer halfway.
The lecturers also take their work serious because they know their purpose and they know that they are employed at one of the best colleges in the country. The lecturers at RC are very professional also friendly. RC lecturers are friendly in a sense that they create the platform for students to not be afraid of them. This benefits students in feeling free to engage.
RC students and lecturers share the same vision and goals. Students and their lecturers share a mutual relationship which is a good thing, students want to pass their grades and to prosper hence lecturers want the exact same thing for their students. Charmaine Makgae, a first year student said, “I was really nervous about starting here at Rosebank, I thought the lecturers were going to be rude and lazy but what I am experiencing is completely the opposite, everyone is working hard, the lecturers are friendly, working hard and welcoming. I am enjoying studying here at Rosebank College.”
It is said that lecturers are more like parents, they guide students into the right paths of life. Respect is the first way to go in life. If you have a problem that you want to share with someone you can cry on the shoulders of your lectures, they are always there when you need them.
There has never been a scandal at this college saying that a lecture has molested or abused a student, the college is basically oriented in love, peace and joy. “The level of respect of these students is very impressive you can never doubt that they are raised well even though they come from different families, we work together very well and produce good and brilliant results here at our institution” said Mr Patsanza, one of the lectures at RC.
It is really important that students and their lecturers communicate with each other and get along so well because no student would pass with good grades without the help of their lecturer.
Students should also know their boundaries when communicating with their lecturers; they should always respect them no matter what because they are there to help you learn more, same applies to the lecturers and just keep it strictly business nothing.
